A Certificate of Origin (CO) is a document attesting that goods exported in a shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. The issuance of a CO is an important function for chambers of commerce as many countries view chambers of commerce as credible organizations and require that they authenticate documents with their stamp or seal.
Export Market Access has helped over 900 businesses access and expand growth in foreign markets. This grant matching program is designed to assist Ontario businesses showcase goods and services to potential international buyers, participate in trade missions, develop promotional materials, and conduct market research. Export Market Access is an initiative of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, with support and funding from the Government of Ontario.
The Ontario Exporters Fund helps Ontario businesses to develop and implement international business strategies in order to gain or increase access in international export markets. This grant program is designed to assist by providing support to hire a dedicated export manager.
