My Local Connection makes access to healthy food easy, convenient, and safe for everyone, especially the most vulnerable in our community. We offer five ways to get involved in helping us grow a local food system that supports all of us. Because #everyoneeats.

A fresh take on food shopping

Your purchase helps to provide produce to various organizations across the region. Currently, fresh vegetables  are provided weekly to Roots of Justice/the Caremongering group in Hamilton, the Soup Kitchen in Niagara Falls, Beyond the Streets in Welland, Chippawa Lions Club, Strive Niagara, Quest Community Health Centre, The Dream Centre, Tree of Stars, and Battlefield Church.

The MLC Club

Your MLC Club membership helps us build local food security. Membership fees are used to increase our purchasing power so we can buy more from local farmers and support their efforts.
