- Maintain a professional demeanor, a positive tone, and refrain from negative comments about others.
- Adhere to the established guidelines and expectations set forth by the event organizers, including time allotted for a speech or presentation.
- Refrain from discriminatory or harassing remarks or engaging in behavior that could make others feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.
- Obtain informed consent before tackling topics or sharing personal stories, anecdotes, or examples that could potentially be sensitive or triggering for some attendees.
- Consider avoiding sensitive or triggering topics altogether. A suggested list of topics is available in a separate document.
