Leonard (Len) Diplock is Canada Post’s Senior Vice-President of Strategy and Corporate Marketing. Len leads the design and development of the Corporation’s strategy, planning and development activities with responsibility for driving the Canada Post Group of Companies towards sustainable growth and profitability. He also leads the Corporation’s data and analytics group and oversees corporate marketing and brand management to optimize Canada Post’s profile in the market.
Len is a seasoned executive with more than 17 years in corporate strategy, development and leadership roles. Prior to joining Canada Post in April 2016, he held a number of senior executive positions at Direct Energy, most recently serving as Vice-President, Corporate Development. Before joining Direct Energy, he was a corporate strategist with Centrica and a management consultant with Bain & Company.
At the 2017 Economic Summit, Len will deliver the power talk for the panel discussion on transformative change and the next 150 years. As an institution that has existed for the last 150 years of Canadian history, Canada Post has seen and adapted to enormous changes in its lifetime. Canada Post has remained important and relevant for a century and a half, and in his talk, Len will reveal some of the secrets behind that, where the corporation will go in the future, and how we can all build prosperity that lasts for 150 years.
