Safari Niagara proudly dedicated three full days this past season to a “Day in the Park” fundraiser, aimed at supporting the local community and families within the Niagara region and beyond.
The initiative focused on benefiting organizations that assist with family and children’s health, aligning with Safari Niagara’s longstanding commitment to giving back to the community. The Tykolis family and the park staff consistently prioritize community support through efforts such as food drives and the annual toy drive held during Safari Lights.
This year, Safari Niagara introduced a unique fundraising initiative, “Day in the Park,” offering reduced admission with a portion of each ticket sale donated to a designated charity. The initiative was met with strong community support, resulting in a significant impact. Each of the three selected charities received a $10,000 donation:
- Niagara Health Foundation (supporting the South Niagara site development)
- Niagara Children’s Centre
- McMaster Children’s Hospital
Safari Niagara looks forward to continuing and expanding these meaningful initiatives in the years to come.
