I. Introduction
The Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) is seeking a Strategic Planning Process Facilitator to lead us in crafting a forward-looking strategic plan that aligns with our mission, values, and long-term objectives.
II. Background
GNCC is committed to advancing the interests of our membership through advocacy and services, building prosperity for the people of Niagara. As a non-profit organization, the organization operates under the strategic guidance and governance of a Board of Directors with additional input and advice from a series of Councils.
Vision: Niagara to be at our economic and social best.
The current Strategic Plan (2022–24) includes the three strategic pillars of a) Maximizing Member Services; b) Optimize Business Advocacy and c) Strengthen Organizational Capacity.
III. Objective
This RFP seeks a qualified facilitator to guide GNCC through a comprehensive and inclusive strategic planning process, ensuring our strategic vision reflects our aspirations and sets a clear direction.
IV. Scope of Work
The selected facilitator will:
- Assess current status.
- Lead structured planning sessions with board, staff, and stakeholders.
- Conduct an environmental scan.
- Draft the strategic plan.
- Present the draft for feedback.
- Finalize the plan.
V. Proposal Submission

VI. Selection Criteria
Selection is based on relevant experience, successful facilitation history, proposal quality, competitive pricing, and strong references.
