Ontario Chamber of Commerce Announces Trevor McPherson as Vice President of Members Services

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that Trevor McPherson has been appointed as the Vice President of Member Services, effective October 16, 2017.

Trevor has been with the OCC for 11 years and is well-respected among the Chamber Network community. As the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Governance, he has led planning and strategy for the Ontario Economic Summit (OES) and more recently Advocacy Day at Queen’s Park and other signature events. Trevor has also contributed to strengthening the OCC’s governance model.

In addition to his responsibilities as Vice President of Member Services, Trevor will continue to oversee OES 2017 and Board governance matters for the time being. He will also continue to manage the OCC’s Event Services team.

The title of this role has been revised. The OCC has done so to create simplicity within their member relations department and ensure inclusion as the OCC is interconnected and a part of the chamber network.

The OCC would like to take this opportunity to thank both Suzanne Renken of the Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce and Keanin Loomis of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce for participating in our hiring process.

“I’m honoured to be entrusted with this important responsibility. I look forward to working collaboratively with the many talented leaders from across the Chamber Network to ensure that our diverse membership is fully supported and positioned for growth,”

— Trevor McPherson
