2020 Niagara Economic Summit tackles recovery and rebuilding
2020 is the year that everything changed, and all the forecasts and models we had built had to be abandoned in the face of a global pandemic and the resulting economic downturn. With the world still in the second wave of that pandemic and many facts about the way it has affected our economy still coming to light, the 2020 Summit assesses where we are now, how we got there, and where we can go as we turn our thoughts to recovery and the future.
The final panel, held at 10 a.m. on November 24, will speak to those sectors hit hardest by this pandemic and the strategies that can be put in place to speed up their recovery and ensure future growth. In these unstable and uncertain times, we aim to offer a roadmap to recovery for tourism and cross-border trade.
