Niagara College will launch its Commercial Beekeeping Graduate Certificate program – the first of its kind in Eastern Canada – on Tuesday, July 26 at 9 am.
The announcement will take place at the Niagara College Greenhouse at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, and will be followed by a tour of the on-campus apiary, which includes 30 actively managed hives and will serve as a key hands-on learning environment for students in the program.
Developed in consultation with the Ontario Beekeepers’ Association, the program is designed to meet the significant and growing demand for highly-trained beekeepers.
