Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce

GNCC Update on COVID-19; Office Closure

Dear Members,

While the current risk to residents of Niagara posed by COVID-19 remains low, we can take measures to protect our business partners, colleagues, family and friends. As it stands, social distancing measures have proven to be the most effective means to contain the spread of the virus.

Effective March 17, 2020, our physical office space will be closed to the public and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) staff will be working from home. In addition, all GNCC events scheduled for March, April and May have been postponed or will go virtual. Events scheduled for June or later will be determined in the coming weeks.

The work of the Chamber will continue. We are set-up to work remotely and therefore can connect with you. You matter to us and here is just one of the ways that we can help:

  • Digital marketing is of utmost importance to businesses as Niagara practices social distancing. Let us connect you to customers through our social media reach of 21,770 targeted local businesses, entrepreneurs, and engaged community members. With over 170,000 y-t-d impressions across our channels, your message will be heard. Please contact Corrina Massicotte, Director of Operations and Communication, at corrina@gncc.ca for further information.

Given the fluidity of this situation, please reach out to us today for assistance, questions and even more importantly, information that we can share on your behalf.
Thanks as always for your support of the GNCC.

Sincerely,

Mishka Balsom
