Border chambers form bi-national partnership on tariffs and trade
With deep regional economic ties, the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership, Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce, Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, and Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce, supported by Niagara Region Economic Development, jointly affirm our commitment to fostering a robust and mutually beneficial economic relationship between the United States and Canada.
Our bi-national group of chambers represent 5,065 organizations on both sides of the border employing 430,000 people, and cover both the busiest passenger and cargo land crossings in the country.
In light of recent discussions surrounding tariffs and trade policies, we are united in our call for continued collaboration and dialogue to reduce barriers to trade and ensure a predictable and stable environment for businesses and workers.

U.S. alcohol producers brace for sales bans in Canada if Trump launches tariffs
Canadian shoppers looking for Kentucky bourbon or a full-bodied Napa Cabernet may soon find some gaps on liquor-store shelves, as American booze has become a target in a looming trade war.
Canadian politicians say pulling American-made alcoholic beverages from store shelves will be one way to retaliate should U.S. President Donald Trump follow through with plans to enact widespread tariffs on Canadian goods entering the country.
That means U.S. distillers are fighting a trade war on two fronts this week.
