Chair Caslin to be joined by Hamilton Mayor and Waterloo Regional Chair at State of the Region Event

Niagara, March 22, 2018 – On March 28th, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Regional Chair Alan Caslin will deliver his annual State of the Region address to an audience of five hundred.

The event is presented by PenFinancial Credit Union and Bell, and made possible by the GNCC’s partner organizations, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce, Niagara Industrial Association, Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority, Niagara Association of Realtors, Niagara Home Builders Association, Niagara Construction Association.

In his address, Chair Caslin will talk about the achievements of his administration and his vision and goals for Niagara. In his own words: “Hands on the wheel, eyes on the road: delivering results to the residents of Niagara.” Chair Caslin will then be joined by Mayor of Hamilton Fred Eisenberger and Waterloo Regional Chair Ken Seiling for a roundtable discussion, moderated by Niagara Workforce Planning Board CEO Mario de Divitiis. The three politicians will not just compare their regions but their approaches to the challenges and opportunities in these neighbouring communities. Extensive data background on the economies of the areas will be provided along with trends and solutions.
