The Corporation of the Township of West Lincoln is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Beverly Hendry as their new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Ms. Hendry’s appointment is effective Monday, April 9, 2018.
Ms. Hendry joins West Lincoln from the City of Oshawa where she has served as the Commissioner of Corporate Services since 2014. Previously, Ms. Hendry spent nine years as the CAO of the Township of Scugog in Durham Region. Ms. Hendry’s previous experience includes 19 years with the Province of Ontario where most of her time was spent with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. She has also served as president of the Ontario Municipal Administrators’ Association. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Guelph University.
Ms. Hendry is a proven, effective and enthusiastic leader with many years of municipal and provincial government management experience. During her time at the City of Oshawa she served as Interim City Manager for over a year and, as the Commissioner of Corporate Services, Ms. Hendry led information technology services, facilities management services, city clerk and legislative services, municipal law enforcement and licensing services and corporate communications.
