Speaker Roster
2025 IWD Award Recipient: Rochelle Bush, Tubman Tours Canada
A proud descendant of freedom seekers, Rochelle Bush owns Tubman Tours Canada and has spent over 25 years preserving Black history in Niagara. As resident historian and Trustee of Salem Chapel, BME Church, she leads tours on the Underground Railroad and Harriet Tubman’s legacy. She has also held leadership roles in heritage organizations and tourism initiatives.
Karen Campbell – VP, Community Initiatives, Canadian Women’s Foundation
With over a decade in gender equity and social justice, Karen leads national efforts addressing gender-based violence, economic security, and youth leadership. She champions grassroots and intersectional approaches to systemic change.
Dana Dignard – National Director, Communications, YWCA Canada
A bilingual executive with 20+ years in marketing, communications, and inclusion, Dana has led national campaigns for human rights, crisis intervention, and sustainable development. She previously served as VP of ESG, Marketing & Communications at GS1 Canada.
Diana Huson – Co-Chair, Equal Voice; Regional Councillor, Town of Pelham
Diana, the first woman elected to her seat, is a champion for economic development and gender equity in politics. She co-founded Equal Voice Niagara and has led regional committees advocating for inclusive governance.
About the IWD Award
Presented annually by the Women in Niagara Council (Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce), this award honors an innovative Niagara woman who amplifies community progress.
