The keynote address at this year’s Niagara Economic Summit will be delivered by Jeremy Amin, Regional Manager – Global Operations Properties for GE Canada.
Amin is a senior leader in the Corporate Real Estate field with Canadian and international experience. During the past 15 years he has held various roles within GE in Canada and overseas. Amin leads the teams executing on acquisition and divestiture of real estate, facility operations and construction across the company’s portfolio, supporting GE’s 6,500 employees and business operations in office, service and manufacturing locations.
Most recently, his activities have included leadership for the evaluation and selection of the location for GE’s new “Brilliant Factory”, a 500,000 sq ft manufacturing plant in Welland, Ontario. Amin is a graduate of Queen’s University and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
At the Summit, Amin will speak on why GE selected Niagara, what made Niagara competitive for an international firm, and what we can do to be even more competitive in the future.
He will then join Mike Watt of Walker Industries for a fireside chat Q&A session, including questions from the audience.
