Government Affairs
The Government Affairs Council (GAC) is the advisory body that helps to inform and guide the policy and advocacy work at GNCC. It is comprised of community leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds and with extensive experience in government relations and advocacy.
The Government Affairs Council supports the GNCC’s mission of influencing government and public institutions on behalf of business by monitoring, anticipating, and advising on governmental and political matters at all levels wherever and whenever they affect Niagara business. The Council’s role is to support Policy and Government Relations staff in fulfilling the mission of the GNCC, and to maintain focus on that mission. The Council will foster a spirit of collaboration, mutual respect, and mutual assistance between itself, the GNCC and all other committees and councils thereof, and the GNCC membership in particular and the Niagara business community in general.
