Recognizing business excellence exemplified by a woman under the age of 40. The successful nominee will have a proven track record of professional success and shows outstanding potential for the future. The professional may be in any field.

Emerging Business
Award

Recognizing women entrepreneurs engaged in new business ventures. Nominees must have been in business for a minimum of one year and not exceeding five years.

Leadership
Award

Recognizing the leadership of women in Niagara’s corporate community. Recipients are individuals who have demonstrated leadership, business acumen and success, integrity, and a commitment to the community. This woman works for a corporation or a large organization (30 employees or more).

Entrepreneurship
Award

Recognizing small to medium business owners that have achieved great results in her own business(es) with a proven track record of growth, profitability and industry leadership, and commitment to community. Nominees must have been in business for more than 3 years.

Community Impact
Award

Celebrating the achievements of women in Niagara in building stronger communities through social and cultural involvement and leadership. This may be done through employment or volunteer work.

Science & Technology
Award

Recognizing the achievements of women in Niagara’s STEM sector (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

Cultural Arts
Award

Recognizing the leadership of women in the fields of arts, music, dance, design or film.

Hospitality & Tourism Award

Recognizing success, leadership and innovative approach of a leader in Niagara’s hospitality or tourism industry. This person demonstrates a commitment to providing top-quality customer service and guest experience in hospitality, tourism, or the entertainment industry and has increased the awareness of the Niagara Region.

Gives Back Award

Recognizing an initiative lead by a woman or a company that supports women’s issues. This business or individual has taken positive action to invest in their community and sees social responsibility as an integral part of the business’ success.
