Sean Simpson has been strongly encouraging his customers to wear masks for about a month, since first allowing people back into his Niagara-on-the-Lake pharmacy.

But he has stopped short of closing his doors to customers who won’t wear a mask for one reason or another.

“We’re promoting wearing masks for sure — encouraging would be the proper word. But we’ve yet to cross into that real mandatory land,” Simpson said.
