Friday will be the day Niagara officially moves into Stage 3 of reopening.

Premier Doug Ford made the announcement Monday afternoon (July 20) with Niagara joining the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area regions. Toronto, Peel and Windsor-Essex will be held back in Stage 2.

Niagara’s acting medical officer of health, Dr. Mustafa Hirji, believes the region is ready to move into the next stage but reminds the public to not get complacent.
