The temporary closure of Niagara’s two casinos that’s put thousands of people out of work due to the coronavirus outbreak has had at least one positive outcome: feeding hungry people.

Women’s Place of South Niagara, Project SHARE and the soup kitchen operated by Niagara Falls Community Outreach are among a number of Niagara charities helping vulnerable people, which have received substantial donations of food from Niagara Casinos, operators of Casino Niagara and the Fallsview Casino.
