GNCC congratulates new and returning MPs, thanks candidates

The Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) congratulates Dean Allison, Tony Baldinelli, and Chris Bittle, who were re-elected on April 28th to serve their communities in parliament once more. With their long history of community service, we are confident that all three will continue to do an outstanding job representing Niagara, and we look forward to working with them all once again.

The GNCC also congratulates Fred Davies, elected to represent Niagara South for the first time. A regional councillor, Mr. Davies also has a history of community service and experience representing his community. The GNCC is certain that he will bring this same spirit of service and dedication to his new role, and welcomes him as a representative for Niagara.

Outgoing Niagara South MP Vance Badawey served the riding as its federal representative for nearly ten years. Mr. Badawey is a champion for his community, and his legacy as an MP includes significant work to develop the economic potential of our waterways as well as to protect the environment. We thank him for all his efforts on our behalf.

We thank all candidates who put their names forward and stood to represent their community in this election. Their willingness to serve is appreciated, and we acknowledge those who were not the winning candidates for their hard work and dedication in support of Niagara.

The GNCC looks forward to working with the next Government of Canada as it seeks to build prosperity for our region and our country.
