Tours via Zoom

The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is happy to offer free virtual school and educational programs and tours via Zoom.

Our engaging and experienced staff are ready to take your students on a virtual tour of our permanent galleries or behind-the-scenes in our Museum’s collection. Other fun and exciting opportunities involve programs like The Travelling Museum and Jr. Engineers, which have been modified slightly to ensure enjoyment for all your students learning from home. We’re also happy to tackle any local history topics you and your students might have an interest in, including a virtual walking tour of St. Paul Street or a virtual walking tour of the city’s historic architecture.

How to participate:

o   Contact your child’s teacher and ask him/her to book a program or tour for the class;

o   Book a program/tour for your family group and invite friends and other family members to join;

o   Send us an email requesting to have your name on our open invite list – we will send you a notice with a link to join in whenever a program/tour is booked.

Once booked, an email will be sent with the link to join – no download or special equipment needed. Please see the attached flyer for information about the available programs.

Our virtual programming is free and easily accessible. Simply get in touch with us to book your free virtual tour and have your students ‘attend’ the Zoom meeting, available at a time that works for you and your students.

For more information or to set up your virtual program booking, please contact Adrian Petry, Visitor Services Coordinator, apetry@stcatharines.ca.
