Empowering Women Through Entrepreneurship: THE TEN SPOT’s Women in Franchising Grant

The Women in Franchising Grant: $100,000 in Capital Support

THE TEN SPOT® is on a mission to empower women to become successful business owners. That’s why the Women in Franchising Grant was created—a dedicated initiative to help ambitious women kickstart their own THE TEN SPOT® franchise.

A total of $100,000 in grants will be awarded, with 10 successful applicants receiving $10,000 in capital support each. This funding provides a crucial boost to cover startup costs, making franchise ownership more accessible. Beyond financial support, grant recipients will receive expert mentorship and essential tools to confidently launch and grow their beauty bar business.

The $100,000 Women in Franchising Capital Grant is a limited-time offer and is subject to availability. The grant provides a discount toward the initial franchise fee only and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, or applied to other expenses outside of its intended use (buildout and marketing). The grant cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or incentives unless explicitly stated.

 

Applying for the grant does not guarantee franchise approval. All applicants must still meet THE TEN SPOT’s financial, operational, and legal qualifications before being awarded a franchise. The grant does not exempt recipients from any franchise fees, agreements, or obligations beyond the discounted amount.

 

Eligibility & Compliance:

 

This grant is available only in Canada, excluding Quebec.

Only first-time THE TEN SPOT franchisees are eligible. Existing franchisees and those under contract but not yet open do not qualify.

Grant recipients must comply with all THE TEN SPOT franchising agreements, training, and operational requirements to maintain eligibility.

THE TEN SPOT reserves the right to modify or discontinue the grant program at any time.

 

Financial & Legal Compliance:

 

Grant recipients are solely responsible for any taxes or financial reporting obligations associated with accepting the grant.

Franchise opportunities are available only in jurisdictions where THE TEN SPOT has met applicable registration and disclosure requirements.

Any and all sales figures listed are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise noted. These figures represent the Gross Sales of top-performing bars and the top-performing percentile of our operational locations across varying markets. They are for illustration only and should not be considered a representation or guarantee of the level of sales or success that a franchisee may achieve. Only the sales figures outlined in your copy of THE TEN SPOT Franchise Disclosure Document should be relied upon when making any franchise-related decision. Many factors can influence a bar/location’s sales, including but not limited to local market conditions, brand awareness, competition, marketing efforts, staffing, and management practices.
