Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee exists to guide and support the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) and its members in creating a more inclusive and equitable organizational environment. Its purpose is to create a sense of belonging among GNCC’s stakeholders and the broader community. Serving in a strategic and advisory role, the Committee focuses on assisting companies in removing barriers to the recruitment and advancement of individuals who identify as racialized, Indigenous, gender-diverse, or persons with disabilities; addressing internal challenges that may limit staff participation and growth; and strengthening community engagement by elevating diverse perspectives. Through this work, the Committee aims to embed EDI into Niagara’s business culture and help realize its vision of being a truly inclusive community.
