NSI’s 6th Annual Evening of Recognition

ST CATHARINES, ON – April 27th, 2017

Next month, Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) will host our 6th Annual Evening of Recognition. Each year NSI holds an Annual Evening of Recognition, our chance to come together to celebrate and recognize the efforts of our Carbon Project members and the wider Niagara community for their sustainability efforts. This year, we are excited to announce new membership options for the public – stay-tuned!

Hosted at White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa, this event celebrates the achievements of our member organizations that have taken steps to become sustainability leaders within the Niagara Region. The event is scheduled to take place on May 25th, 2017 from 5:30-7:00pm.

The theme of our 6th Annual Evening of Recognition is Guiding Communities: Committing to a Sustainable Future. This event coincides with the release of our Annual Report of the same name.

This is event is open to the public and tickets are $30.00 which includes one beverage and appetizers. We hope you will be able to join us in congratulating the many award recipients!

We are in the process of finalizing more details, which will be available on our events page.

Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) is the not-for-profit organization engaging and connecting businesses in Niagara in an effort to advance economic and environmental sustainability. We work to help businesses identify, understand and reduce their carbon footprint to become more sustainable both environmentally and economically. Through our efforts and programs, such as the Carbon Project, we’ve become the go-to source for organizations interested in tackling sustainability. We promote opportunities to develop a mindset for an environmentally and economically thriving Niagara and to integrate these values into all future planning as our community grows.
