What it means for you,
your business, and the economy

ORHMA  Heart of Niagara

On July 13, The Heart of Niagara Hotels will be hosting a discussion with Tony Elenis from the Ontario Restaurant Hotel & Motel Association (ORHMA) on the upcoming $15 Minimum Wage increase occurring in Ontario. This increase was announced as the Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017, as part of changes to the Employment Standards Act.

The minimum wage increase will have a major impact within the restaurant, hotel, and motel industries as well and many others within the Niagara Region. Join us for a discussion on the particulars of the increase and the impact it will have on Niagara.
