Art Expressions

Art Expressions is a painting and media program that lets individuals living with dementia and their care partners enjoy an activity that:

• provides the opportunity for social engagement,
• improves quality of life, and
• increases informal supports through connection with other participants.

This painting class is an expressive therapy and social group that offers an opportunity for individuals living with dementia to have personal choice and control. No previous experience is necessary! Each session will guide participants to create a specific painting theme. Each participant will be encouraged to choose their own canvas size, tools, paint colours, and textures to work with.
