Doors of Perception: Lynne Gaetz

Doors of Perception, an exhibition of mixed-media paintings by Lynne Gaetz, runs October 1–26, 2025 in the Joyner Gallery at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre. The artist blends surrealism, symbolism, and intuitive storytelling to reveal the hidden layers of human consciousness. Gold leaf, collage, and dreamlike imagery of birds, figures, and fragments of text invite viewers to pause, reflect, and look beyond surface appearances. An opening reception with the artist takes place Sunday, October 5, 2:00–4:00 p.m., with remarks at 2:30 p.m.
