Diverse Business-owners Roundtable
Looking for Input from Diverse Business Owners!
(those who identify as part of a diverse community, such as women, racialized people, people with disabilities, 2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.)
The Regional Municipality of Niagara (Niagara Region) wants to make it easier and more inclusive for businesses of all kinds to provide goods and services that it purchases.
This is part of a larger initiative the Region is working on with Reeve Consulting to build a Sustainable Procurement Program at the Region.
We are inviting diverse business owners to join a 90-minute virtual roundtable discussion. We want to hear from business owners about:
- Your experience selling goods or services
- Any challenges or barriers you have faced
- How Niagara Region can make its purchasing process easier to access
We are looking for business owners who:
- Identify as part of a diverse community, such as women, racialized people, people with disabilities, 2SLGBTQQIA+, etc.
- Own or operate a business that currently sells, or could sell, goods or services that Niagara Region may purchase
- Have either worked with Niagara Region before, or may be interested in doing so in the future
The session will be held virtually on Tues. Aug. 25th at 1:00pm – 2:30pm. Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served.
Your input will help Niagara Region better understand how to support diverse-owned businesses and improve how we buy goods and services.
