Capital Campaign Launch on Janet Carnochan Day

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum is launching ‘Building History — Strengthening Community’ a capital campaign to expand and reimagine Ontario’s first purpose-built museum.
On Thursday, June 4, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., we are inviting the whole community to join us at 43 Castlereagh Street for an afternoon of vision, conversation, and celebration.
Your support in this expansion and renovation project will make it possible to create a new collections space, a community programming room, barrier-free access, and a significant environmental renovation of our heritage buildings — making the Museum more inclusive, more accessible, and more sustainable for the generations to come.
June 4 also marks Janet Carnochan Day — our annual tribute to the remarkable woman whose vision gave Ontario its first purpose-built museum in 1907. There is no better day to take this next step forward.
We would love for you to be part of this story!
