Brock University – Competitive Edge Sports Camp

The Centre for Healthy Youth Development through Sport, in collaboration with Brock Sports and Recreation, is launching a new camp, called Competitive Edge for youth athletes ages 11-14.
This camp aims to support youth athletes in strengthening mental performance through fun, engaging activities rooted in sports psychology. In this camp, kids will be taught how mindset and emotions shape their game and helping them build confidence for challenges in and out of sport. So if your child is looking to take their sport performance to the next level, this camp is for them!
The camp is grounded in the latest evidence-informed research and practice, developed by experts in the field, including
- Steve Lidstone, Associate Director of Sports Performance
- Dr. Corliss Bean, Associate Professor with expertise in sport psychology and youth development through sport and Director of the Centre for Healthy Youth Development through Sport
- Matthew Marini, Wellness Navigator for Athletics and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, and
- Philip Sullivan, Associate Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs, Professor in Kinesiology, and member of the Centre for Healthy Youth Development through Sport
Camp sessions run:
- July 27-31, 2026
- August 24-28, 2026
Registration is now Open (listed as “Summer Camps”) on THIS website!
